There’s 200 items to unlock (most of them are pictures, alternate costumes and music), enough stages to give gamers a good variety of executing their most sadistic fighting fantasies, and more fighters than you can shake a stick at. But for $39.95, if you already own Deadly Alliance or Deception, I can only recommend that you wait for the Xbox 360 and PS3 to get an MK game. Plus, it’ll probably be out next year around the same time. Shame on Midway for tricking people into thinking this was the last MK game. |
| Sweet to the Core |
| |
Huge character roster. Lots of fighters to choose from
|
| | Lots of unlockable content. Enough content to keep gamers busy for a while
| | | Fighting styles are cool. Variety of fighting styles keep the fighting entertaining
|
| Going Bad |
| | Lacking game modes. No tournament, coop, or team modes
| | | Konquest. Lame story and even worse ending
| | | No coop in Konquest. This takes a step back from Shaolin Monks
|
| Rotten to the Core |
| | Endings. All the endings are cheap
| | | Copout endings. Even when characters die, it's a copout
| | | No custom soundtracks. Music gets repetitive and boring
